I rode the perimeter of the island today and it’s not too bad. It’s about 120 km then I head out to Mac and back to bring the total distance to 185 km. Nice 7 hr ride just relaxing if anyone wants to join. Leaving at 9.
Also riding to Mac and back Saturday at 9.

I could maybe be interested in meeting you but i’m not in such good shape. last week i went to rougemont. its very quiet out there. its 120 km return thats about all i could handle right now. maybe you like to go that way?
Yes, possibly. But the nice thing about riding around the island is you are never very far from home because you could cut through one of the main roads. Show up. It won’t be a fast ride, just base miles. You could always turn on Papineau which brings you back to downtown in no time.

Wednesday seems alright so heading out again at 9 from the gates for a 6 hr ride.
I don’t have six hours Wednesday, and I don’t think I could match your pace for six hours anyways, but I’d be down for riding with you the first ~1.5h and then heading back on my own. I’ll be going out every chance I get before the snow flies anyways.
Okay I’m going to have to pull out. I’ve been feeling progressively worse all day and tomorrow AM will be for taking it easy.

Thanks for the ride Uncle Nick. Days like today remind me why we spend so much money on bikes, wear through a saddle every season, and simply enjoy the beautiful weather while pedaling through the scenery.

Thanks for the ride. I think that’s the worst I’ve ever been thrashed around by a bunch of guys on bikes. I hurt everywhere and that was a notable (likely) last ride of the season.
