I am planning on biking from Montreal to Boston in three weeks’ time! The main reason I’m doing this is because I have lots of free time before finals and I’ve always wanted to experience New England more deeply, so what better way to do it than on a bike?! I am looking for any and all help and advice that anyone can give me in order to make this trip the most enjoyable and personally fulfilling as possible. If anyone can provide me with things such as: good routes to take, equipment to borrow (GPS, bike bags, decent travel-size pump, etc.), lodging for the night, or even food or money, I would be forever grateful of your efforts. As a reward, I will be cooking a feast the night before my departure on Friday, April 12 for anyone who helps me in any way with this trip. If you are interested in helping me out, please message me or email me at sarah.shipley@mail.mcgill.ca and I can give you the details I’ve worked out so far as well as the specific items I am looking to borrow. Many thanks!
maybe you should take some variation of the 200 on 100 route through vermont? It probably isn’t the most direct way but its probably one of the most beautiful ways. http://100-200.org/
PS is anyone going to do this ride with me this year? Last year we had a popular thread going but then everyone bailed.
GOOD LUCK SHIPLEY!!!
I did the 100/200 last year. Planning on doing it again.

We should bring the other post back or create a new one, so we don’t hog Sarah’s. I still wanna do it.
Sarah, let me know when and we can meet up for the handlebar bag.
Thanks guys. I am planning on following the 100 for some of the way, but I have family outside of Burlington and a friend in Manchester, NH who I will like be staying with so I can’t follow it all the way down. But I hear that ride is beautiful. Jonathan I’ll PM you about the bag.
