Bixi Pub Crawl, September 17

A few friends and I are doing a Bixi Pub Crawl 9/17, meeting at Benelux at 8. We will then go to a few other places accessible by Bixi.

No one will be dropped.

For those of you with iPhones, the team was contacted by a software developer trying to get testers for their new BIXI app.

I thought that it would be a great idea to contact your club since we are currently beta testing our latest version of the app. In a nutshell, v3.0 gives the possibility to Spotcycle members to create personalized thematic bike routes. Using your iPhone, you press “start” and the GPS of your phone will track your route. After, you can add points of interest and share it on the app database and with your friends (via social media or email).

You could use our beta version to create a route for your pub crawl. You could send it to the other cyclists that could not make it that night! We also have a breweries pub crawl tour in our app, if you would like to have a look!

no, we’re just going to meet at benelux, buy a 24 hour bixi pass ($5 i think) and go to various places accessible by bixi. this isn’t a formal pub crawl or anything…we should actually make a list of places. suggestions, dustin?

Well, we’re meeting at Benelux so we might as well have a beer there (in case that wasn’t the plan). Dieu du Ciel is also good and has a Bixi stand right across the street, plus it isn’t too far of a ride. Suggestions anyone else?
