Critérium du Centre Père Sablon

so, who’s going??

the girls start at 1:15 pm, and the boys start at 2:30 pm. does anyone wanna get together as a group and ride over together? we rode the course today, there’s a tricky corner so i recommend doing a couple laps. its looks like a fast course… should be awesome to be in the city and have lots of people come out!! there’s a course break at 12:30 before the girls race, so i assume we can pre-ride it then? say maybe head over for noon-ish? and boys, you should come then too. not only to ride the course, but to cheer your beautiful teammates on

also, if there is anyone else who doesn’t want to race it, you should all come watch anyways!! it’s a loop around parc laurier, on avenue laurier est, the parc is between st denis and papineau ish. http://www.fqsc.net/comp/route/infocourses/Sablon.htm
there’s a link, there’s a map at the bottom.

i hope to see lots of you there!!

Hey,

I’ll be there, but I’ll go with my folks! Good Luck and see you there!

La Manne

I’ll meet you there seeing that the gates are about exactly the wrong direction. See you at noon-ish.

Hey Norman,

You ok?

I talked very briefly on my cell to Norm’s girlfriend, Liz, after the race and apparently he is ok, save for having lost a lot of skin and needing a couple stitches above the eye. She said he was dancing in the Hospital or something, so that’s probably a good sign.

Hey,
Thanks for asking about me… I’m in pain, but no serious wounds. About 10 or 12 stitches, split evenly between my upper lip and right eyebrow. I’ve got road rash covering about 20-25% of the right side of my face, on both knees, arms and right shoulder.
I was a pretty good sport about it and it went quick at the hospital, but now I’ve got the blues. Luckily, I’m on vacation next week. We’ll see about robert-brisson Thursday, but I think I’ll do it. I’ll take a day off training tomorrow and will do weights Tuesday, since it’s fall-free.
C ya guys.

Good to know Norm, i got scared seeing you there… And taking a turn wide isn’t something you tend to repeat much, its too painful, you learn fast (speaking from experience). We’ll race again together.
