DownHill skiing as crosstraining?

I was wondering if it was possible.

I teach skiing for 7 hours on saturday and sunday every week. I was wondering if i could do specific things to help me train for Biking. Apart frmo the obvious. Dont fall. And is it a valid crosstraining combined to 5hours of spinning a week. I dont have a trainer…

i think dh skiing is definitely good for anarobic muscle training, and it crosses over directly for downhill mountain biking, but you need to do some extra aerobic spinning and such for road biking and xc mountain biking. but yes, it is good cross training.
