With the semester wrapping up, I thought we could all get together for a big shindig before we break for summer. I thought I’d suggest an end of year party, capitalizing on all this nice weather. My exams finish on wednesday, and I thought maybe this friday I could host a gathering for all us cyclist to grill some veg+meat and hang out on my roof or porch.
It has been put to my intention that OAP Lite + St Sulpice is actually this Friday, and not Monday night, as I was previously aware. This is an annoying predicament, because its an event I really want to go to. Therefore I offer the compromise:
We START at OAP, mingle with the Team and other friends. We move to my place for food, say around ~5:30-6 ish since its light out till 8 these days. Eat food, and then head for St Sulpice to tie the evening off.
Friday night is out for me, I have tickets to an event at Vanier that evening, I would be able to meet you guys later at St Sulpice if you were still going.
I know if nick and i want to go at the critical mass, we wont be able to go at the bbq since it is exactly at the same time. Personnally i wont go at the OAP since i’ll go MTBing at rougemont with Christina and leslie in the morning/early afternoon.
I’d love to meet up with you guys. I could meet you wherever you are around 7-7:30 ish.
It seems like there are too many events to coordinate this coming Friday. Unfortunately, with these kinds of gatherings, not everyone will be able to make it. Can I suggest that you don’t plan too many consecutive relocations? This just won’t work for anyone - people are always late, and trying to pull people away from a BBQ to go somewhere else …
Is a team breakfast a possibility? Not as much fun as BBQ and drinks, but maybe more people’s schedules could be accommodated?
Anyway, whatever you decide, I’m looking forward to ‘it’, whatever ‘it’ is.
