Fantasy Dauphine (Race Starts Sunday)

i don’t quite understand what your mean by your notation, but off the top of my head the columns could be:

team name, directeur, day, points, rank, cumulative points, cumulative rank

i’m not sure what would be the best way to include each rider’s points is, but in the spirit of long format data i guess the columns could be

team name, directeur, day, rider, rider points

and it would be up to the user to calculate sums

What I meant is the following urls with corresponding data:
Url: /leagues/daily/points
team name, directeur, day 1 points, day 2 points, …
Url: /leagues/daily/position
team name, directeur, day 1 league position, day 2 league position, …
Url: /leagues/overall/points
team name, directeur, day 1 total points, day 2 total points, …
Url: /leagues/overall/position
team name, directeur, overall league position day 1, overall league position day 2, …
Url: /leagues/overall/overall
team name, directeur, overall position day 1, overall position day 2, …
Url: /leagues/teams
team name, directeur, rider 1, rider 2, …
Url: /riders
rider, name, cost, day 1 points, day 2 points, …

We’ll have this down pat by the TdF.

whatever you choose to do is fine, there’s some great libraries out there that transform data sets into whatever format i’m most comfortable with

OK enough dork talk, lets get back to what really matters: fantasy sports

Can you store the data in ntuples so that I can use ROOT?

Nizzolo’s out. There goes my sprinting power :frowning:

Yah, me too. After a glorious start, trek is failing us. As far as ROOT analysis goes, sorry I don’t have any collision data on Nizzolo.

Anyways, the scraper code is open source, so you can adapt it with pyroot

Not a very good day overall for mct members, although Phil continues to stretch his lead on the rest of us. David, if you edge me off the podium, I’ll come at you with graphs!

when farrar shows up for the tdf we may need to build some sort of farrar@home distributed computing network for collision data

badum-tish

i don’t understand how anyone can like froome

that said, it doesn’t stop me from raking in his sweet sweet GC points though

I <3 Froome

And Phil crushes it again.

Phil’s been the top MCT scorer on all stages so far except yesterday’s, and he’s 18th overall!

Dennis and I are fighting for second, although David is nibbling at our lead.

Duchesne was on my fantasy team but I raced against him today (and he won) :frowning:
Not only did he not make me any points, he physically hurt me too :frowning:
