For sale: Argon 18 Gallium Pro - large (57.5 cm)

#1

Hi everyone!

I am selling my much-loved Gallium Pro. I worked weekends at a bike shop over the summer and the owner is letting me swipe one of the clearance bikes, so it makes sense to pass on this one. I bought it from an Argon 18 employee in 2016 and since then have upgraded and replaced literally every single part on it. I had a crash in 2017 but the frame was replaced under warranty (and by warranty I mean that Argon18 found a frame in the back of their warehouse or something and decided to give it to me). As it currently is, no part of the bike has been involved in a crash (it’s a bit of a ship of Theseus situation).

Here’s a few photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/wrWWV74ss2wVxPV86

I’m asking $3450 on Kijiji for it, but I’m willing to give a good discount for someone on the McGill cycling team. I’d rather it go to someone that’ll get a lot out of it than just rake in the big bucks. Don’t be afraid to low-ball me.

Here’s the component breakdown:

Frameset : Argon 18 Gallium Pro Large (57.5cm) – 2013. FSA headset, PRO carbon topcap and spacers, BB386evo bottom bracket.
Wheelset : Bontrager Aeolus Pro 5 TLR – 2019 ~3000km, hubs just serviced.
Tires : Conti GP4000IIs 25mm – brand new
Bars : Easton EC90slx, 42cm
Stem : 3T ARX II Team, 110cm, +/-7
Tape : Fi’zi:k Performance Soft Touch - new
Seatpost : FSA K-Force Light, 31.6mm diameter, 0mm setback - new
Saddle : Selle SMP Composite, Carbon Rails. I’m pretty fond of this saddle, so -$120 dollars if you don’t want to take it
Bottle Cages : Tacx Deva 2x
Brakes : Sram Red Calipers, Swiss Stop Black Prince Pads, brand new
Brake levers : Sram Red 10sp
Brake/shifter cables and housing : Mostly JagWire, some Shimano housing segments. Redundant barrel adjusters on everything (it’s really helpful)
Crankset : Sram Red GXP, 50/34, 172.5mm arms
Chain : Sram PC 1091R HollowPin Chain ~500km
Derailleurs : Sram Red Yaw 10sp
Cassette : Shimano Ultegra 11-28 10sp. ~500km
Pedals : Look Keo 2 Max Blade, 6Nm release. These are one of the oldest parts of the bike. They still work, but their miles are numbered.

Feel free to ask any questions!

Pretty sweet build right here! Highly recommend anyone looking for a good used bike to take a look at this.
