KOM/QOM #7 - One quarter of the Tourmalet

This ride is about one quarter the total altitude gain of the Tourmalet, according to my quick mental arithmatic. Go us.

This is the second to last KOM/QOM of 2012. The podium in both categories is still in the air, so it’s definitely not the right time to sleep in. As always, we meet at 6:30 at the bottom of the Houde. Dress warmly!

Jon, Tourmalet background?

4km to go for Kessiakof.

I haven’t been an Andy Schleck fan for awhile… but the Tourmalet was one of the last times he was good:

As a true andy fan, I obviously remembered the galiber and thus wrote “one of the last times…”

But more importantly, DID DAVID JUST COMPLIMENT ANDY SCHLECK??

There’s a pretty good chance I’ll not be there tomorrow morning. So don’t wait for me. I have a feeling the ghost will be picking up a lot of points tomorrow… Sorry guys.

Mike and Phil, you should probably do advanced tomorrow. Oh, and you should also do an intense leg workout tonight.
-Sneaky Pete

Who will keep score for advanced then? :S

Phil is sick and I can’t make it in the end. Good luck pete!

Spreadsheet is update here. Awesome week guys, just one more to go. It’s going to be special…

Thanks for the pit-stop help after my double flat incident. I’ll remember to keep two tubes on me next time. I owe you one, Ruth.

But what if you get a third flat, fourth flat, nth+1 flat?

You get new tires and stop skidding.

CX dismount & run

I did get new tires…

The problem is that you are too heavy David.
