No, Chavanel will take Bronze. Horner will win the RR.
…Obviously Tyler Farrar was just trying to save himself for the road race, that’s why he had a subpar tour…
The Road Race (well the circuit) has a pretty similar profile to GP Montreal, and I could try and position the three best sprinters in some combination, instead I’ll take a guess at a break that could stick.
EBH
Chavanel
Someone Dutch (Gesink, Boom, or Terpstra)
As for the TT-
Wiggo
Froome
Fabian
Chavanel
Martin (the biggest question surrounding Martin is if he’ll use specialized tires, and flat for the third consecutive TT)
I finally found a course profile: http://app.strava.com/runs/olympic-road-race-course-467101
Note: This guy did the box hill loop only once rather than 9 times.
This is followed by 45k flat until the finish.
Sparty is the only one that could win both TT and RR??

i’ll raise you a cancellara
That video shows Wiggins winning against a field consisting of… only non-sprinters. There is absolutely zero chance Wiggins could beat any (good) sprint specialist. Especially now that he’s completely transitioned to a GC rider.
And regardless, Wiggins will be working for Cavendish, so he won’t be sprinting for himself.
BREAKAWAY, CALLED IT.
that is all.
epic
DMITRY FOFONOV FOR THE WIN
Pretty disappointing in terms of entertainment. Still glad GB didn’t win. Congrats to Drew for calling it out.
CANC… NOOOOOOO!!
Yeah, congrats Drew for being the closest one to predicting the win
Nice call on Farrar David. You missed it by one place!
I’d say david’s call on Farrar is the most incredible, not only was he just one spot off but he undervalued Farrar!
No surprise, our two most euro riders got the two best predictions.
With Cancellara being uncertain about the TT my new predictions are
Wiggins
Froome
Cancellara (if he competes), if not, Tony Martin
