so yeah, that actually just happened. I ran pretty much right next to armstrong all the way up and around the mountain. it was kind of crazy. celebrity-ness is crazy, and people get crazy when celebrities are around. I think i admire him a bit more now, if nothing else for his “I don’t give a shit about you haters” attitude.

I dunno. I mean if he’s an egomanic then he probably likes it, but even then, only up to a point.
I’m pretty sure even an egomaniac would care when people run in front of him, turn, and try to run backwards as a hoard of people run towards you.
Then again, he did tweet an open invitation to join him for the run …
