Bring your mountain or 'cross bike! Planning on riding up and down the caleche path a few times… Or running down the stairs if it’s too cold to ride down. The snow is pretty well packed (Turtle - MUCH better than when we went) and it’s lots of fun! Weather should be about -5.

How are you getting up to the carriage path? I tried on Sunday but the feeder trails were all way too bogged with snow to traverse with a 700x28 tire.
I come up from the path on des Pins (in front of the med building). I’m running a 32 so it’s a bit easier for me. You’re right though - that snow is sometimes really shit. I’ve had to walk it a few times.
Ah I’ve been trying to go up at the start of the Olmstead path near the statue. I guess I’m just not going to bother soon after a big snow fall anymore.
They groom the path in its entirety with some heavy machinery though. I went up both yesterday and today and the surface is really nice.
