stop shivering people, I am not going on the mountain else than on paved roads,
cuz clearly, I don’t have what it takes.

Commooonnnnnn Marie-Eve

you will have to try it out :stuck_out_tongue: you’ll love it.

marie! i just had a great idea!!!

lets get matching tattoos!!!

and here is a typical moment from a MTB ECCC race, don’t you just want to try to go through these rocks now?

see, those rocks don’t attract me…

But, you are right Seb, I should probably try, there is no evil there, but I must say, to tell you the truth, that I am scared. More scared of not being able than falling we are talking about here(not falling, but failing!). It’s just so different from road, and I think it calls for a whole different set of skills.

So Vick, I suggest matching tattoos when we turned 70 if we aren’t fervent mountain bikers then. You know, to do stuff you or I haven’t done in our lives, tattoos, mountain bike, base jumping and so on. But we would have to be in the same tribe… and drink the cheapest beer, cuz when we will be old, according to demographic studies, there will be 4 retirees for 1 worker…

“You’re going to get stupid. By and large, people don’t do intentionally stupid things on road bikes. You just ride. This is not the case on mountain bikes. At all. People will look at a nine-foot dropoff and say, “I think I can make it.” I’m pretty sure this has to do with all the brainpan rattling.”

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
that is so true
oh man
i love that site.
so marie? joining the dark side?

I think she should, and no worries, we will introduce you with the almost roadish trails for the first few… seconds, and then introduce you to mountain biking. but I think you should try it at our next team trip at kingdom trails since there is great trails for every possible level (you know, like skidoo trails, superlarge and nothing rough on them) (and yeah, this is not a “joke like” sentence, I think you should really borrow someone’s bike or rent a nice one from East Burke Sports and have some fun).

yeah I’m betting she would have a blast on the easy double track
smooth sailing through it almost like as if she was on the road. :stuck_out_tongue:
