I’m most probably gonna go to the OGC warehouse sale on thursday, leaving mcgill at 3pm by bus and metro, if someone wants to come to feel free. They are the distributor of some interesting brands, particularly in the accessories (helmets, shoes, etc.)

Hey Seb,
I’d come too. Also, i’ve still got your bike rack, when can i deliver that to you?

mmmmmm really good question for the bike rack, when would you be available (evening-wise).

For the OGC warehouse, how about 3pm roddick gates? on thursday, i’ve look at the directions with the metros and bus, and we would be able to get there by around 4:15 and it opens at 4pm.

3pm roddick is good, according to the stm it should take about 1hr to get there. For the rack, i’m available tomorrow or wednesday night.

On the same weekend, KMI is having their sale as well. They distribute Commencal and a few other products.
If you go to www.kmi.ca, the pdf file with the sale info is after you select your language.
Someone I met bought a Meta 5 VIP frame and shock for $750 all in last year.
Eric

Hey jonathan, Do you think i might find nice prices for a new bike there? If yes, i think that i might come. But there is more chance that I will go on friday, so if you can check for nice deal, it would be great.

aller tu m en donneras des nouvelles,
Olivier

Olivier, j’y vais moi meme voir quoi de carbone pas trop cher, je t’en donnerai des nouvelles. Parcontre je soupconne que les plus beaux deals seront partis jeudi 16:01…

Hey all, there is some justice in the world. Pretty good prices, if you can find what you want. And tomorrow they want EVERYTHING to leave, so the prices are going down till there’s nothing left…

Highs: rear shocks, ask Seb for details, he looked at them more carefully, bikes (not much left though), and shoes (if you wear 9s), and helmets for 15$, although in full faces apparently there are only M’s left.

2 questions. First did you guys buy anything yesterday. Second< how long was the wait to get in the place.

Thanks
Seb Labrecque

We ddin’t wait but it was 4:15, and we bought stuff (me a carbon bike – and other stuff). It was like 10min to pay or so i guess. Its a bit of a mess to find stuff though, but the prices are GOOD.

Just like kids in a toy store, litterally.
I bought Adidas Adistar XC Race shoes with carbon sole (25$), Manitou R7 RL rear shock (50$) and a pair of canoeing/kayaking shoes by Giro for 15$.
I almost bought some top of the line Bell helmet for 25$

I think i regret not buying any of the manitou forks for 100$, since even if they break soon, they are so cheap…

It was crazy, no waiting in line or anything, but you have to make your way through the people to get the stuff first

I went to the KMI on today. It was pretty good. I went around 4pm today and they still had a good amount of bike and frames both moutain and road for pretty cheap. I got hutchinson procyclingteam tires 2 for 69$. a bike computer wireless for 20$, some look pedales for 70$ don’t know what they are pp396? and a moutain bike saddle fizik for 25$. Also bid short by Nalini for 75$. I think they were pretty good deals althought I don’t know so much about bike equipment.
