Weight training - newbie

Hi,

I’m a newbie who is interested in starting some weight training. I am wondering if anybody would be willing to show me the ropes to get me going one evening this week? I would really appreciate any help to get me on the right track to improving my riding.

the best thing you can do to improve your riding is ride.

You’re gonna have 5 months of snow during which you can get bored to death doing weights. I would suggest you take advantage of the weather!

I would be more than happy to show you ropes Libby… I really enjoy weight training (heck, working as a personal trainer on the side is paying my way through school). The only thing is, I am not available in the evening during the week. What about Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning next week…

Hey, completely missed the second reply to this post. Friday mornings work really well for me (I have class Monday and Wednesday mornings) - let me know if that works? Very keen to start pushing the muscles!

Ok, my bad - well, kind of - the prof for one of my courses moved class as a once off to Friday morning, instead of Wednesday - so I’m afraid I will have to pass this week :frowning: - but next week for sure!
