The team will be running its annual 12Hours of McGill Cycling at the 4 corners of McGill Campus on September 7th from 8am to 8pm. We want people to come visit us all day in their McGill Cycling Gear.
We will be collecting new members and will accept team fees all day so come signup.
Otherwise come to the first Introduction meeting on September 8th at 6:30 PM in Otto Maass Chemistry room 217.
I have put three sets of signup above. This is for volunteers who will be able to man the table for the set times.
Anybody and everybody who is interested is more then welcome to join for whatever times they can.
The designated blocks just help give an idea of when people will be riding.
I myself have a class ending at 4 so I probably won’t be able to start mine then.
Good point Eric. I am currently limited by only 3 sign up columns, and people can only sign up for one column at a time so… not the most efficient for creating schedules. People should just sign up for a chunk they will be in for a little while.
For instance I realized I will be on the Beginner ride until 9am and then will need to go change, so I need some people in the morning to set up.
I’m sure people want to volunteer Ben, they are just nervous. Even new members who just want a chance to meet everybody should sign up. We just want a lot of people.
Honest Answer Jon: I wan’t able to get a table today because my lab metaphorically fell out from underneath me. When I get back from the ride I will help you borrow a table from McGill Chemistry. Start is postponed until then (9am).
Kit is awesome, just at a table is great as well, however you are comfortable.
Do we have rollers? If so, I can just show up to the ride, and come and spin afterwards. Otherwise, I’ll just go ride earlier and show up cleaned up after. I’ll also bring a usb key with pictures. I might also have some printed pictures from last year, but they’re still in a box from my move.
Jon: Perfect. I’m dropping all my real clothes in my office before the ride. You can do the same and we can change after and carry a table out of Otto Maass.
