“Should I wear my tight shirt, or my tight-tight shirt?”
OK, so here’s the scoop. After what was transformed from a 2-day FedEx delivery into a 11-day FedEx delivery by Canada Customs, we’ve finally got some trial clothing for all members to try on before they commit to ordering later in the game. These kits have been graciously lent to us by Verge (our clothing sponsor).
What: “Fit-kits”, trial articles of cycling clothing, in sizes XS to XL. I’ve got fit kits for 1) Elite Jersey (standard jersey), 2) Primo Jersey (better, tighter, faster, euro-er; but will be ~$20-$30 more expensive), 3) Long-sleeve jersey (this is NOT the Pelta Jacket), and 4) Bibs.
Who: Anyone interested in buying McGill Cycling clothing who is willing to come to my place at the specified dates & times.
When: This is important. There will only be an extremely limited amount of dates that this can happen. This is for several reasons; 1) We have a narrow window before Verge gets upset at us for holding their clothes hostage, 2) My room-mate will get mad at me, 3) I’m busy (Sorry people at MSA)
Where: My place; 3679 rue Drolet (use Google maps)
Why: So you aren’t extremely unhappy with the “how you expected it to fit” and “how it actually fits” discrepancy like I was last year.
“But I wanted to try on the arm warmers/knee warmers/socks/etc. too!”
Well, too bad. You’re probably the same size as your jersey, anyway… unless you’re some bio-geometrical freak of nature like that guy selling the Time bike on our buy/sell forums.
“But I can’t make any of those times!”
If it’s really a problem email jerseys@mcgillcycling.com and I will try to work it out (not making any promises).
As an aside, the actual ordering will occur relatively soon. I will try to get the shop open up soon – but more on that another day.
