I think I have an idea of what you do in your spare time.
nope, I’m just REALLY good at setting up RSS feeds.
I have a case of cliff bars at my house, and a bunch of them are on this list and are just one or two days off on the expiration dates. what should i do? just munch em down?
I knew a guy when I was in high school who said he got salmonella from a raw egg (cookie batter) when he was 11 or 12. He spent 3 months at home and lost 30% of his weight because of the salmonella and the fact that he was weakened enough he caught every “bug” he came across.
That might want to be part of your decision. But if the expiration dates are different that means they were made at a different time right? Is the date before or after the recalled one?
ben, if the UPC codes and dates aren’t on the list I wouldn’t worry - it refers to a very specific batch of peanuts that came through the food processing plants.
there have also been no reported cases of illness from the bars so its most probably a litigation protection measure - you can always contact cliff and ask for a return/exchange, they will probably be most willing to give you free stuff.
This is actually part of a far larger peanut related salmonella outbreak thats been going on in the states.
30% of his weight? Damn Ben, imagine how fast you’d be climbing if you were 30% lighter. I think the choice is obvious.
good point, dave.
“Dysentery doping?”
Ben in particular, there has been an update on the recall so it might include your bars now:
