Hi Everyone! Did you know that McGill Cycling has an dedicated indoor training program over the winter? If you are interested in spinning with us over the winter, this session is for you!
Spinning is a great way to train and its suitable for cyclists/non cyclists of any level. Best part is that you don’t even need a bike, thanks to our collaboration with McGill Athletics all you need is running shoes and basic athletic wear or a bike kit. If you are a McGill Student spinning with us is completely free!
Because spinning can be a bit foreign to people who aren’t used to it I will be putting on an intro to spinning clinic this Saturday at 1pm in the spin room. We will talk about how the winter spin program will be organized, what kind of equipment you need to do it, HR zones, power zones, intervals, cadence and everything else you have ever wanted to know. We will probably spend about a third of our time talking and the other two thirds spinning so bring your workout clothes!
Note that while this clinic is targeted to beginners, everyone is welcome to attend!
