Dear MCT,
I am in need of lots of cycling clothing. Due to the large volume of clothes I’d need, I’d prefer if anyone is selling something secondhand (or old McGill Cycling merchandise from previous years at a reduced price). Also, I was looking for recommendations on WHAT to wear during South Carolina (seeing as it’s going to be in low-double-digits (Celsius)).

For SC, I recommend shoe covers, leg/arm warmers and a jacket.
Pete’s list is good. With all those items there isn’t really any conditions you can’t bike in. In my opinion a ultra-thin smooshable shell is the single most useful type of jacket, because you can bring it on long rides when the weather could go either way, and combined with layers they usually do decent jobs even in proper rain. To note, we do have washing machines in south carolina, probably doing a load each day, so don’t think you need an entire week’s worth of clothes for SC.
Long fingered wind proof gloves. 10+ min descending is chilly.
Actually on that subject, I do have an old pair of full-finger gloves that I could give you. They’re not exactly cool, but they’re functional, and hey, free’s a pretty good price. Let me know if you need them and I’ll bring them to spin sometime.
