I realize this is kind of short notice but Les, Nadine and I are going curling tomorrow from 6:30-7:30 if anyone wants to join. Basically the McGill Curling Team (yes, we have a team) has the ice at this time and other McGill students can go try it out if they want. So you don’t need to be a pro to go - we certainly aren’t. It’s at the Montreal West Curling Club.

From the guy on the curling team: In terms of equipment, all you need to bring really is sweat pants or track pants (pretty much anything stretchy). People can play in jeans (there’s no dress code or anything haha), but it’s a little less comfortable. Also, it’s somewhat cool out on the ice so a sweater or a light jacket and sometimes gloves aren’t a bad idea too.

We’ll provide the rest, there’s no renting, it’s all free to use.

We could pick you up at your place Ben, otherwise from campus - we will have a car tomorrow, and we haven’t looked up the location of the curling club yet.

I think i don’t really have time to do this. Do they have open houses like this just once a semester?

It sounds like you can go any Monday, you just need to let them know that you will be going. If you want, I can send you the curling guys email so you can go another time?
