wow, great article. That takes balls to do what he did. I’m glad he did it so the rest of us don’t have to. Sort of confirms what I thought all along about doping: do we really want to let professional sports just devolve into a free-for-all of who has more money and more “doctors” on their teams, pumping them up to freakish proportions and risking everything?

anyone find it odd that amgen (people who spnsor tour of california) were the people who first started making EPO:
“EPO occurs naturally in the body, but only in tiny amounts. Researchers at Amgen Inc., a California pharmaceutical company, figured out how to synthesize it in quantities that could help people who weren’t producing enough red blood cells”

As David Millar says, I think dopers are athletes who got so obsessed with winning that they forgot why they do sports.
