We had a fantastic turnout at our first McGill Cycling Team race last weekend in Boston. McGill placed 4th overall…if you want to help McGill get on the podium, then sign up to race at UVM Green Mountain!
The UVM Green Mountain Race weekend features an exciting Team Time Trial, a Road Race, and a Criterium on the University of Vermont campus. This race is much closer than the other ones, so even if you’re only able to attend one day of racing, it will be worth the trip!
I would like to get full confirmation on whether you plan to participate by the end of the day Monday April 6, but please indicate your level of interest ASAP so I can start working on the logistics.
As always the trip price will be ~$60 (most likely less since it’s closer and we’ll probably stay at Dom’s house) and if you are able to provide a car or place to stay the cost of your trip will be waved.
The Mount Philo finish is back for 2015 after being cancelled due to snow last year, UVM was saying it’s looking it it will be in good condition by race day. For those who don’t know Mount Philo is a 1.8km climb that has ramps upwards of 25%.
They’re walking back down. You aren’t allowed to ride down… On the other hand, cramping Dan did walk it. Waaaaay late, after they’d pulled the photo-finish and all.
