Hi everyone, UVM/Dartmouth weekend is almost here! Saturday April 12th at Dartmouth features a 6km Individual Time Trial and a fast, four-corner Criterium around Frat Row. Racing then migrates to UVM on Sunday for a road race ending on the very tough Mount Philo (grades up to 30%!). There will be racing categories for everyone, complete beginners and experienced riders alike. Even if you haven’t raced with us yet, this would be a fun weekend to start!
We’ll be staying in a hotel near Hanover, NH Friday night, and then at my parents’ house in Burlington Saturday night. Since school is over by then, there is the possibility (depending on interest and car availability) of all/some of us staying Sunday night in Burlington as well, and then having a more relaxed departure on Monday, maybe even getting a nice ride in. If staying Sunday is something you’d like, indicate your interest and we’ll see if it can happen.
“The final circuit will include a sharp right hand turn into a final 1.2 mile finishing climb with a 9.7% average gradient and maximum gradients upwards of 30%.”
