Estacade/Seaway ride

Hello,

I planned on going on a nice ride today and bike along the water on the Estacade or Seaway path. To my surprise the gates on Iles-des-Soeurs were chained closed denying me access to the bridge to make my way over onto the path. Is there a certain time during the day that they close it? Is it just not open yet? Or is there another way I can get there?

I really like that path since its flat, open, and more importantly car free!

the official opening date is apr 15 but if you live on the south shore you can access it form cote ste catherine side

Thanks for the info! It appears that you can also access this path from the F1 track. Does anyone know if that is gated as well?
