Garmin Edge 800

Hi Guys!

I’m looking to part with my Garmin Edge 800 for $60, to someone new on the team, and preferably into to racing.

This Edge 800 was passed on to me by @Philippe_Tremblay three years ago, who owned it for a while.

However, I can testify to the fact that it works just fine, and has an impeccable battery life (I’ve done a few 250km rides without needing to charge it at all). It has really good mapping features, turn-by-turn navigation, and a bunch of other really good features. I’ve recently updated the firmware as well.

As with all Garmins, there are few software bugs you’ll encounter if you ever decide to climb 9000m in one ride or ride for 14 hours, but I doubt anyone does that regularly :wink:

It comes with a 2GB memory card.

Hey Adithya,

I’m looking into getting into casual racing/longer distance biking. My plan is to train over the winter with the indoor spin sessions and start going on rides outdoors next year.

I’m a little tentative on racing as my fitness level is not very great but I think this might help with motivation/be able to train on my own
