I’m looking for a new helmet. Black. I like Bell helmets but they only have models with black but also stupid grey/silver sparkly stripes on it.

I’d go to Neron but I don’t like the Specialized helmets.

WHAT SHOULD I GET?? Trying to stay under $150

PS: Giro’s don’t fit me.

Not sure what the general consensus is on Ekoi, but they’ve treated me well. I couldn’t find a helmet I liked from any of the big names but Ekoi’s F20 fits nicely. The only compalint I might have is the chin strap is far too long; it needs to be folded back two or three times to prevent it from flapping around. Everything else about it has been rock solid though.

Catlike makes their models in all black. Not sure how they’re priced or where you can find them though.

catlike’s are pretty expensive, abc has a full selection, and bikurious has one or two models.

the ekoi r12(posted above) is pretty sick for 130.

I’ve been thinking about getting a poc, only because I read(like a year ago) that they were the most concussion proof helmets going, just a thought.

Anyone know where I could try on one of those ekoi’s? I agree, they look nice

As far as I know they’re a direct seller. Assuming they haven’t changed that, your options are to buy online or go visit Tyler in Sherbrooke where they have a store.
