Hello McGill Cyclists, mountain bikers and non-mountain bikers alike. I’ll get straight to the point. Kingdom trails is one of the finalists in the Bell Built Trailbuilding Grant Program, which is offering $100,000 split between three trail systems for building a brand new beginner flow trail on their property. Kingdom trails is very narrowly ahead in the flow category, but voting ends on Friday April 12th. They need every last vote!
Even if you are not currently a mountain biker, you could still take 2 minutes and vote for this very worthwhile project, as it is not only a vote for a new trail, its also a vote for an economically impoverished part of vermont, and this project would bring a much needed little boost to the community.
Just go to https://www.facebook.com/events/516250128421329/?fref=ts which is the kingdom trails event page, then click on the link to the Bell Helmets Grant app,
https://apps.facebook.com/228716427271717/
There you can select Kingdom Trails from the potential flow projects, and cast your vote! Unfortunately, you do have to put this app on your facebook page, and I NEVER do that but i made an exception for this contest. I will delete the app as soon as the contest is over. And you can also skip the part of the app that does weird facebook things like “post on your behalf”. No thanks, Bell helmets.
But please vote! Takes two minutes.
