Is anyone planning on doing this race?
And has anyone done it? The course is part of my local ride and It seems really tough. I was wondering how the race was and if it is a fun ride.
I did it last year with three other mct guys. It’s really nice, and i’m planning on doing it again. It is hard, with strong face winds and a few good climbs. Also, it is a single pack, with senior 1-2-3, masters and juniors, so it’s fast.
But it’s fun not to be doing a loop for once, the scenery at the ste-agathe end is nice, and it’s oh so cool to have a motorcade escort on the 117 and the highway just to ourselves.
Finally, there is also an inexpensive and large lunch over there to chill at and pig out.
