I was hoping somebody would be able to enlighten me as to where (if any:) good places to sit down and eat were, out on the westisland, preferably near mac campus were.
There some restaurants if you continue on lakeshore past campus and into Sainte Anne de Bellevue. Nothing all that great IMO though, I usually just end up at Subways when I’m working @ Mac and I don’t bring a lunch.
If you want somewhere to stop on a West Island ride IMO you are better off stopping in Point Claire village or crossing over onto Ile Perrot.
I have family that might be in town within the next few weeks to check out mac campus and I was wondering if there was a nice place to eat in the area.
define nice? You could try Le Surcouf in Saint Anne but it’s crazy expensive (~$40 a plate).
If you’re going for lunch go to Twigs cafe. On the right side of town when you bike through just before the BMO. Otherwise there are a few nice restaurants with terraces on the waterfront. I think violet angel is good, but I usually go to a little thai place just after the pharmacy
