It was a messy sprint to start with.
Haussler did the exact same to Cavendish Before pushing him out wide at the start of the sprint and then they both trick to use CIolek as a Block. Hope everyone is ok and I hope the AG2R rider is ok, he looked to get off the worst…

My two cents: Compare Haussler’s position to the paint on the road around 33sec…he didn’t really deviant from his line if he was following that. In another video I saw it looked like he did veer towards Cav but then you could see him correct himself a second before he was taken out. What got me was you can see Cav glance over to see Haussler’s position and only after he saw Haussler he then starts moving towards him to block but went too far. Cav moved like 3 ft. 100% his fault. But it is bike racing and sprints are controlled chaos and it only takes a minor error for it all to erupt.
The season has been lonely without Haussler. I miss him like Kate Moss misses food. Hope his season picks up.
