Massage therapy deal at McGill Sports Med clinic

For anyone interested, there’s been a deal set up with the McGill Sports Med clinic: members of the McGill Cycling Team can now get a 30 minute sports massage for $29. The SSMU insurance plan covers $20, which means $9 for a session!

To obtain the deal, you must:

  1. Be a member of the McGill Cycling Team
  2. Call or go to the McGill Sports Med clinic in the Currie gym and ask for a “varsity massage appointment”. The secretaries know about the deal.

The clinic has asked that we buddy-up for appointments and make two bookings together to make a full hour. This would be preferable, as it makes it easier for the massage therapist’s schedule. This isn’t absolutely necessary but would be much appreciated.

I can’t help but chuckle. This is equivalent to Toonie Tuesdays at Taco Bell.

They’re giving us discounted massages at the one time of year where we won’t really need them.
