Hey guys,

McGill’s men novice (novice = never raced before, but most of us never touched an oar or an erg before the first practice) crew is 1 person short. It means we can’t take the eight out, at all!! If any are interested by rowing or want to try it out, it’s a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Experience isn’t relevant, neither is height or weight.

We will be waiting for you and your enthousiasm at the olympic bassin at 6AM (right beside the track, look for “club d’aviron de Montreal” for exact directions).

what do you wear to this sort of thing?

it’s a little cold but shorts and a long sleeve shirt are fine.

Avoid baggy stuff, since it might get caught in the railings or in the oar.

And bring a water bottle!
