F1 loops, maybe elsewhere if there’s enough interest. Remember that most rides are flexible and are subject to the democratic process. We can chat, take it easy, and look good while we do it (this is arguably the point of road biking).
Meet at the Roddick Gates at 6:45AM. I realize this is getting earlier & earlier, but I actually have a 9:30 class that I can’t miss.
Reminder: Helmet & working brakes are necessary. This is also a great time to pay team fees before the rapidly approaching price cut-off (end of the month).
Disclaimer: I finish work at 12am the night before so I may be cracked out.
I see a few strong names in the sign up (and in some cases, several times).
Remember that this is a beginner oriented ride with lots of tips & pointers on fitness & form. If I catch you being a dick (ratcheting up the pace to some unrealistic tempo) then I will publicly embarass you.
There will be times to hammer, so don’t worry, but these times will be followed by regrouping & general merriment.
Hi! I know this is really late notice, but I thought I’d introduce myself to any cycling forum night owls-I’m Hannah. I haven’t been able to try out the beginner ride yet, but I’m going to try it out tomorrow so I’ll see you guys tomorrow morning! I am definitely a beginner-I dabbled in some tri-biking this summer but before that I didn’t really do much- so I apologize in advance for slowing down the “re-grouping”. I’m excited to meet you guys and join in on the merriment.
Jess hit a sign in the middle of the track as we were crossing over. She crashed and parts of the bike’s cracked but she’s physically okay, frame’s a write off.
