Who is looking to do some mountain bike races in the fall? I am, I know Christina is. I know nothing about the season or races, so hopefully someone insightful could fill us in!
I’ll look into this, Vince. The ECCC are fun ones to do, and I’ve gone to a few of them in the past.
I just got my first taste of mountain biking this weekend, and it’s amazing, so if I can rent a bike again I really want to try an xc race!
Peg me down as interested. Mountain biking is how I got into cycling, gotta stay true to my origins.
I’ll post something about races once they’re organized - I contacted the ECCC and they haven’t scheduled their fall races yet but should be soon.
JR, not sure what level you will be racing, but assuming it is more advanced than my beginner, you can use my bike if schedule allows. I ride a Specialized Epic, Medium.
I am free and willing to race any weekend other than Sept 6th weekend and Sept 21st weekend. I will be away racing a triathlon (shudder) and running race (double shudder) those weekends.
I’d love to try mountain biking, just don’t have a bike :’(
Phil, you always need s+1 bikes…get on it! After your CX bike of course.
