Posting to gauge interest in attending ECCC MTB races. There are a few races within driving distance this year, listed below.
I have no experience with MTB, but I’m more than willing to help set up participation by McGill Cycling if enough people are interested in racing. According to @oliver_wockner (who had my job last year), “These races are really ultra super fun. The atmosphere is very laid back. They are a great introduction to racing. Each race weekend usually has cross country, short-track cross country, dual slalom and downhill races.”
Usually we leave McGill on Friday afternoon as early as possible, and return Sunday after the last race. If there’s enough interest, an official sign up post will come later. In order to participate you’ll need to have paid for the team membership and have a McGill Cycling jersey.
