Hey all, just joined the forum 5 minutes ago, really exited to have found the group! I was a full time bike mechanic back home, and would love to make my services available to the club. I have a full (minus a few very specific) set of tools and plenty of experience. Who can I talk to in order to get something started?

hey Liam! welcome! Have you also considered volunteering at the Flat? I know quite a few members often go there, and knowledgeable mechanics like yourself are an asset!! We’ve also held mechanic clinics in the past. Maybe we can set up a poll to see who’d be interested?

Hi Liam, as it turns out, I am a regular volunteer at the Flat, the bike shop in the basement of SSMU building. So we could have a bike skills/mechanics clinic there some weekend if you are interested. I’m sure there would be considerable interest in this among club members. Let me know!
