Plyo 2. Wednesday Nov 27 8:30 PM

It is in the Mind and Body Room. Bring a water bottle.

We will start 8 minutes late at 8:38 PM.

Last time the breakdown was more or less:

Warmup (5min)
Lunges/Squats/Small jumps (15min)
Static Core (5 min)
Jumping on Boxex (25 min)
Dynamic Core (5 min)
Stretching

I cannot remember exactly because I only noticed the clock at the very end of the workout.

It will be very similar this week, but tightened up since I know what equipment is available and how everything felt the following days.

Do I have to be a McGill member to have access to the Plyo sessions? If not, would you know how much do I need to pay (if anything) to enter the Athletics complex and get to the room?

I got in for free last time, just told the guard what I was doing. Otherwise a visitors pass is usually 10$

I’ll come for the static core, and stay for the dynamic core.

Just to let everybody know:

Once a month I won’t be able to do Plyo. Therefore December 4th I will be unable to make it.

Anyone who has been there for the last two weeks can lead if you use your outdoor voice.

The future Schedule looks like this:

December 4th - ?
December 11th - Adam - Huge Jump day. Breaking records.
January 8th - Adam - How many pieces of pie did you eat over break? i.e. the toughest plyo of the year.
January 15th - ?
January 22 - Adam - TBD
January 29 - Adam - TBD

I know Dhruv enjoys leading, but if he can’t be there ETC I could give it a shot.

Plyo has to happen.
Only in a group can I get a good core workout.

Define, “Huge” jumps please.

“Huge” means that we will do a warmup specific to putting out your best ever high jump. This will set a personal record as a benchmark for improvement next semester.

Then we will do some mental training with statics.

I read “then we will do some mental training with statistics” and I thought to myself NOOOOO!

As of now I’m good and ready to lead all the plyo when Adam can’t make it.
