This is a special one for everybody new.

Its the Deck of Cards workout for the first hour and Standard Jumping over boxes for the second hour.

Deck of Cards is when we assign either an exercise or rest to a card, then shuffle the deck, and randomly pull off what we will be doing for the next 60 seconds.

Cards will be assigned titles like:

A - Wallsits,
K - Lunges,
Q - Skipping
J - Frog
10 - Planks
9 - Jumping
8 - Rest

Etc. We need 6 more exercises, or variations of what I listed so put some ideas below.

This is one of the more mentally draining, but rewarding 52 minutes of exercise you can do. I feel like we should do something like this for spin later in the year…

Adam! I was joking when I suggested deck of cards.
I would just add side planks and other variations on the above, though if we have individual blocks we could do badasses on either side for a minute.

Julien. I challenge you to a wall sit card draw.

Low card has to do a wallsit equal in time to the card they drew. A=1 min, 2 = 2 min etc.

P.S. Does anybody own a deck of cards?

Everyone should buy a pack so we can all have cards between our spokes for race season.

We’re not hipsters, please. I own a deck of cards, I’ll gladly bring it to Plyo on the condition that no-one uses one in the spokes of anything else than a single speed.

I think you would literally be the most hated person of the season if you won a race with playing cards in your spokes.

Not if you use enough to build your own aero rims.

Aero covers are not to be accepted unless they display a giant picture of a european cyclist on both sides, preferentially naked.

I’m sorry… what??? Why is there discussions about 10 minute wall sits, naked european cyclists, and playing cards. Either way I’m ready for this new “1st hour” however I will only arrive at 8:50.

Just to confirm… Jocelyn is bringing the deck of cards. If he is late we will start with a plank and hold it till he arrives. No pressure Jocelyn.

We will start at 8:08 and take 52 minutes to go through the deck. No warmup is planned so take care of yourself and do what you need before hand.

Bring a water bottle.

There maybe a possibility that some of the cards are missing. I’ll double check but if there are, we can come up with tasteful replacements.

If I were bringing the cards there would be a few aces missing…

If we have two decks we could shuffle them together and then only use one half…

Gives the element of the unknown where we could have 8 wallsits or none.
