Who is currently doing the mechanics for the mountain biking races?
For DH or for XC?
I know of a very competent contact that goes to McGill that wanted to know if he could be hired as one

Typically we don’t hire mechanics for races - we tend to use the wealth of knowledge of our McGill racers who are at the race to fix any race-day problems, and other than that people take their bikes into the shops to get them tuned up/fixed before and during the season. If your friend would like to post his email here people could get in contact with him for mechanical work, but as a team we don’t really have a mechanic. Thanks for the interest though.
Also, your friend is welcome to ride with us if he’s keen.
