This is going to suck.
Everyone wear McGill kits so we all look rad as we tear down the estacade
I want to wear my HAmmer kit haha
Though I will not be using mine, skinsuits and race wheels are condoned for this ride
I don’t think I’ve been to the Estacade before. Where abouts is it?
Probably the easiest way to get there would be to take the gravel path from the F1 track.
Thanks Jason. I wasn’t sure it was this since google maps tells me its over an hour’s ride from my house. Damn all you people that live downtown!
I’m up for giving no fucks today, see you all at the ride!
You can’t go through the F1 track, because it’s closed for the duration of the F1 Grand Prix. You have to follow the bike path from the atwater bridge on the Lachine canal, and then take the estacade bridge next to the Champlain bridge.
Maybe we should have a group departing from the gates to make sure everyone gets there safely.

Not a bad idea. I’ll leave from the the gates at 5:30.
I’ll see you guys at the gates at 5:30 rain or shine.
Perfect. 5:30 gates it is.
Won’t be there if there is lightening/torrential downpour
ahem lightning
Seems as though the weather gods weren’t so kind to us today… This is off.
I would be interested in rescheduling for tomorrow though.
How does 1pm sound for everyone?
Interested, hopefully I will still have legs after the 100k ride.
now 12pm in order to get Neal and friends off to the bar on time for soccer
mike, skip the 100km and do this. Ride some extra afterwards
12PM = Sunny
Sweet.
FYI: Estacade is close I believe all weekend due to the F1 race, it is closed from both entrance that is south shore and montreal side.
Today I tried accessing it from both entrances and it was closed off.
I was there both yesterday and the day before. Did you try coming through the F1 Track or through the Estacade Bridge by the Champlain Bridge ?
