Changing things up a bit, this ride is very flat through beautiful farmland. Pace will be typical mcgill cycling “I posted this as intermediate but there’s a massive headwind and I can’t stand it when my computer says anything less than 34km/h.” Meet at the gates.
a way to solve this is to not use computers
this is actually a really sweet ride and the last time i rode past st. remi there was a hispanic cultural festival
Even better is to pace via heart rate or power - even without a computer I still blow myself to bits in headwinds.
Eric. Would you mind posting the route? I’m going to do this ride but beginner. I’m just getting over a flu and won’t be able to handle hammerland.
I’m with Mike on this, I’d love to do a sweet long ride, just not as fast as you advanced riders out there
I would go, but that is free movie day at the cineplex. Gunna see Puss in Boots, aw yea.
MikeB and TommyD31 - The St. Remi route can be found under the Sticky: Cycling routes in Montreal. Also, they finally repaved the section that was traditionally known as the ‘Church Sprint’. A section that used to be full of broken pavement, but now is nice and smooth. We would sprint this part and wait for everyone to re-assemble at the church in front of the T intersection.
probably
psh, rain. Zach and I just owned the rain
man I hope it won’t be raining
I’m a maybe.
Can’t…Bummer. I don’t use a computer. I just go balls to the wall all the time.
