South Carolina 2012

Hey Team,

BIG NEWS EVERYONE!!! McGill’s Annual Spring Training is fast approaching. We will be staying at the same place as last year in Sunset, South Carolina over the reading week. This is a great opportunity to put in some good miles before the ECCC season kicks off.

So the plan is to drive down around the 17th/18th, ride all week and head back by the 26th. Rides will be at least 80km everyday (with the option to do more for those interested) at an average speed of 30km/h. You must be able to keep up with the group which shouldn’t be a problem if you have been and are continuing to train regularly with Adam and/or on your own.

As last year, the price will be under $400/person, which includes transportation, accommodation and food.

Sign up if you’re interested! You don’t have to commit to it right now but we’re just trying to gauge the numbers right now. Also, do mention if you or your parents have a vehicle you can use for the trip down!

Thanks!
Emily

maybe.

also a maybe

What’s with these maybes? This trip was so sick last year. If i wasn’t in Bar School i’d be there 100%. I’m even planning on going down solo in May when I have a few spare weeks to prep for Battenkill. Trying to convince Nick Ammerlaan to come with.

I think you’ll be recovering from battenkill in may…

Make sure to avoid May 12th Scott. Thats when the first McGill/UdeM hosted Crit is going to be. Tentatively at Parc Laurier.

with car.

I’m a maybe too… I’d have to fly down on Monday the 20th, and meet y’all down south…but I’d need to reserve a seat in a car for the drive back.
It means someone would get extra leg room for the drive down I suppose. Or elbow room.

YES PLEASE.
Can’t believe it took me 2 days to notice the post.

High speeds, Low speeds, High mountains, Low Valleys, chances of Death and Glory.
Bring it on!!!

Now is the time to renew your passport, if necessary.

I’m in, and possibly +1 if that’s allowed.

Scott : i’m convinced!

I’M COMING! OMG Thanks for the reminder.

and as for Dennis’s remark- don’t you think it would be wiser to USE the PB and Fluff to get you through the ride? :stuck_out_tongue:

no 4 digit mileage claims yet…?

There are more important things than total kilometers. Although I can bet that someone is going to

I’ll drive over 2000 km

1000km.

If I go.
