Happy New Year everyone…Can I join you guys for Sunday spinning if there are extra bikes/registration places? I can’t make it during the week and Sunday works well for me.

8 WEEKS… I did not believe you. so I went and checked the eccc. and you are right. but wrong, it was worst that I initially imagined it when reading your energetic post; on friday we will have only 7 weeks and 1 day till rutgers!!! maths have never been your strenght, so that’s okay, you are forgiven.

does anyone know if we can access the spin room for free (w/o a rec card) by belonging to MTC? I mean access besides those days when we have spin sessions??

generally you need a spin instructor to be there when people are using the spin room so I don’t think you’d be able to have access to it. There are 4 spin bikes in the varsity weight room though…

Unregistering forgot I had a meeting.
there are also a bunch of spin bikes in the nice big gym with windows, which we also have access to. (for training outside of the regularly scheduled spin classes)

yep. All cycling team members have access to that gym as well.
Actually no, according to the people behind the desk where you swipe in being a member of a varsity sport does not grant one access to the Fitness Center (that nice gym with the big windows). Now, one can go in and use it, but according to the staff we’re not ‘supposed’ to.
but if don’t have access, our ID cards won’t work when we try to swipe them unless we pay the $15…
I went to the office where you pay to get your card activated and said I waso n the cycling team, and some lady said varsity teams do get their cards activated for no charge, but apparently she didn’t have a team roster for the cycling team. This was before the break though, so quite a while back.

you DO get access to the gym with big windows, IF Athletics approves our list of athletes. That’s what I’m working on this week. (among other things)
