So our official ECCC racing season is over, as is the Winter academic term (almost…). Now it’s time to think about the summer! If you’re thinking of racing this summer for McGill (or other teams and want to travel together), post here what you want to do/any suggestions and maybe we can get a few people together. Bonus points if you’re coming from Montreal and we can carpool/share hotel rooms.
…and more! Good places to find races are provincial cycling federation websites like FQSC or OCA, and BikeReg.com for American races- there are lots of good ones relatively close to Montreal.
The deal with racing for McGill is that we’ll subsidize your entry fees by a significant fraction, or all of it, depending on how much it is!
Again, feel free to post any ideas/suggestions below- and they don’t have to be near Montreal at all, either- it’d be pretty awesome, for example, to have a couple people home for the summer meet up for a race in Vancouver or something.
Unfortunately I’m sick right now, but anyone in town with a UCI/FQSC license (and some balls- Senior 3 is against the Juniors) should do Boucherville! It’s close enough you could probably ride there without a problem.
