Sunday Oka

Sunday’s weather looks good. 10 degrees and variable clouds. Anybody want to go to Oka? (110 km @ 30-35 km/h)

10:30am at the gates.

Im a maybe. I just need to Change another spoke. Will confirm saturday

Absolutely. See ya there

Stephen, I’ve got spare wheels if you need it to make the ride

As of right now It should be fixed on saturday afternoon.

I am tempted by this ride. Haven’t ridden since my crash a couple/few weeks ago, but I’d like to get in one good one before it’s time to pack it in for the year. I’ll keep you posted.

same here, however still battling that cold so I’m not sure its a good idea.

are we getting coffee in Oka?

Coffee, beer, cheese, whatever you guys want. let’s just get a good November ride in before we’re all skiing.

Hi guys,

I’m really excited by this 11° weather forecast for tomorrow. I also have 2 friends who are potentially interested in coming.

My grain of salt on the route: I would rather go to Mac Campus and do 2-3 laps of the “maze” and stop for coffee in old Pointe-Claire than go to Oka by the North shore, even though once we’re in Oka, it will probably be beautiful. Everyone knows the route, so we’re sure no one gets lost and those who really want to hammer can do so in the maze. Plus (Ben), we get to spot the roads for the eventual MCT race on Mac Campus.

I like mats suggestion too because then we could get to check out potential race courses on mac campus for our race in the spring. And getting to oka kind of sucks a little. But oka is beautiful, no doubt.

also, there is an 18 yr old potential MCT summer member who would like to join us. He has raced before for Espoir laval, so he shouldn’t get dropped, right? This isnt’ going to be crazy fast, I assume. He lives in TMR, so I should tell him where he can meet us. Where?

simplest is that he meets us at the Gates, no?

Yeah I guess that is the simplest. I’ll tell him to suck it up and ride down to meet us.

Mac campus is fine, but I don’t know the route. How far a ride are we looking at?

it would be more 80km + (the number of laps we do at MacCampus x 7km)

We take the bike path from Atwater to Lachine, then we’re on Lakeshore for most of the ride
