ok team! i decided to make a new topic cause the old topic on the hoodies is just a bunch of people saying “i want one…”

i’ve been looking into getting hoodies made, and i finally got in contact with the guy who does them at mcgill athletics. we need a general idea of numbers, so i need to know who’s interested. the more we order, the cheaper they are, i suppose. he wouldn’t give me a quote until i could tell him how many he wanted, so sign up here if you’re interested!

i’ll get more info on sizes, colour, prices, styles, etc. and post here soon.

well, my first thought was that they would say mcgill in big letters, and then cycling below, like all of the other team/faculty sweatshirts you see around campus. i don’t think we can get two different ones made up, that would require two different orders, possibly more expensive. however, i can look into that, if the interest is there. maybe we can do it all in the same order.

ideas on designs/colours are welcome!!

and I think ‘cycling’ should at least be equal to McGill. Im more a cyclist than I am a McGill student…

I agree with Mike on pockets. And I also agree with Mike about it saying Cycling.
And I would like to add my own two cents and say that they should be black, because what is more badass than matching black hoodies? maybe matching brass knuckles?

we already have red and white jerseys, I think black hoodies would look better with them. Red white and black is probably the best color combination ever invented

I’m not sure I’ll get one but if they had some rock racing-esque inspired skulls or something I think that’d be way cool and I’d defnitely get one.

i vote for team brass knuckles. And sweatshirts with pockets to hole them. Black, with a skull and crossbone wearing a helmet for safety.

I dunno, I kinda saw them red and classic, but if people want black, then that’s okay. But they gotta be real cool and rockable. not just plain black with mcgill cycling on it. cuz that is not enough. all or nothing.!

ok girls and boys,

i got a bit more info. they are going to end up being much cheaper than i anticipated (25-35 dollars, depending on order size!!!) which is a pretty good deal i’d say.

the styles we can order are all found in the pro shop at the gym, you guys can check out the sizes there as well. i think we should either get a zip up hoodie (with pockets mike) or a pull over (again, with pockets). the pull over would have McGill written across the chest, with cycling underneath (more stitching = more expensive) and the zip up would probably just have a small logo on the chest (less stitching = less expensive).

i say we try to decide as soon as we can so that we can rock these bad boys at some ECCC races!! give me input on colours, styles!!

also, if you do want one, please register so that i can have a better idea of how many people want one. the more ordered, the cheaper they are!!

I say black with red embroidered lettering… less likely to get dirty from wearing to races and handling bike stuff.

Im impartial to zippered or pull-over, except that zippered has to have good quality zippers…
