Where are the climbs? Like mont royal?
Yeah, sometimes wename the climbs after the street names.
For example:
“Houde” (the longest & most “prestigious” climb) is the street “Voie Camillien-Houde”
“Clarke” is Avenue Clarke in Westmount
“Mount Pleasant” is actually a series of streets starting with Mount Pleasant at the bottom, turning into Belvedere, and finishes with Summit Circle.
etc…
Other times we name climbs after landmarks
For example:
“Oratory” is the winding road that goes up to the top of the Oratoire St Joseph
“Conservatory” is the steep bullshit road that goes to the UdM music building
And other times we name them based on how they look
For example:
“The goat path” is some awful stretch of ultra-steep narrow “road” in the cemetery.
Frankly, this is all really confusing and I would suggest doing KoMs with the team to learn some. Keep in mind that none of our climbs are real climbs insofar that the longest climb is the Houde at 7% for 1.6k
