Thursday, September 29nd 6:30AM - KOM.4

Just thought I would post it now. You all know the deal by now. We climb hills , we meet up at the top and then we go climb another hill.Etc…

Meet at the bottom of Camillien Houde, where it intersects with Boulevard Mont-Royal and the ride finishes in roughly the same place about an hour later (1:15 for A). A will continue to do the advanced route that was done during the first week.

If this is your first week, please try and go in a group where you will push yourself, but also one where you will be competitive. Also, for all new members, King Of the Mountain is the staple of McGill cycling, so if you’ve never been out to KOM, then you aren’t really a McGill cyclist.

Who do I give the 4 dollars to?

Ya. typo… it was supposed to be a number sign

Feel free to give me the money though.

I might be there.

where are the results from last time?

When is this happening?

Every thursday morning at 6h30.

Anybody else looked at the weather yet? 30mm of rain forecast for thursday :frowning:

So ?

30mm is crazy. That being said i’d say I’m doubtful even if it is nice.

I was gonna write something but then I scrolled down and had a seizure.

my favourite is the dancing cats

Well I guess Brandon and I will take all the points then.

Sorry Everyone, I just got back in town yesterday, got all the results compiled today and here they are! Link

The advanced men race is close with the hairy-legged duo of Phil and Eric duking it out in the front, while in the Intermediate men category, Julien “Sandman” Gagnon has a commanding lead of the overall classification. Grace is showing that consistency is paying off with an overall lead in the Women’s category, while Stephen Black provides the counterpoint- that consistently attacking from the gun doesn’t really pay off.

See everyone Thursday

Is C for beginners? You might need a category D for me and my mountain bike :stuck_out_tongue:
The Houde climb goes from 6h30 to 7h30 each Thursday if I’m correct?

Yes but there is always
“hope” that it will.

I just checked MeteoMedia and they say 60% from 5 to 8, and 80% after that. I guess we’ll all see tomorrow morning!

By the way weather forecast says only 30% chance of precipitation between 6 and 8. The rain is mostly in the afternoon and at night.
