Tpr#2

Oh man! I’ve been away at MSA and forgot to post TPR#2!

If you don’t know what this ride is all about, check out the first post I made about it: http://mcgillcycling.com/forum/rides/tpr1-oh-baby-its-back

Sign up and get your legs ready to roar! I’ll check the sign ups later tonight and make up some teams for the morning. Track at 6:45, or gates at 6:20.

Cheers!

Round 1
Intermediate: Eric
First Lap: Justin
Finish: Justin then Eric

Round 2
Intermediate: Tommy
First Lap: Justin
Finish: Justin then Eric

Round 3
Intermediate: Justin
First Lap: Phillipe
Finish: Phillipe then Justin

Totals:
Justin, Phillipe and Tommy: 27
Eric, Jon, and Marie-Soleil: 3

Justin’s dominance was extended for one more week, helped along by abysmal attendance this morning. In a new twist, Phillipe played the role of domestique perfectly for Justin, with more than enough horsepower to chase what needed to be chased and the willingness to bow to Justin’s tactical know-how. Really, not only were they dealt the superior hand, but they also played their cards perfectly. A well deserved win.

Special mention to Tommy for jumping past Jon for an intermediate sprint point.

Also, we need more people next week. Come on guys! It was beautiful this morning.

Can I ride for two teams?

No Dhruv, No

I think Dhruv should be on his own team with himself.

I concur with the above statement by Mike

I would have like to come, but I banged my knee at the Magog Cx race and it’s still quite sore, so I’m resting it until it feels better

Story of my life.

Hey Everyone, here’s the teams for tomorrow:

Justin
Phillippe
Dhruv

Will
Mike
Tommy

Jon
Eric
Mariesoleilblais

As you can see, I won’t be able to make it. I will be waking up early tomorrow, but I will be doing assignments and not biking, sadly. Have fun!

Eric, could you keep track of points and post the results? Thanks!

Good Guy Dennis
Stays home to do homework, but makes sure the ride goes as planned.

any room for one more??

I WON AN INTERMEDIATE SPRINT!!! Great ride guys, I might have to get faster so I can keep up more but I still can’t believe I got the jump on you guys at turn 6

Tommy, thanks for representing the team of no-shows

Tommy, future Cavendish

I like to think of myself as a future Sagan but thanks for the compliment. Oh and Mike… Nice of you to show up.

And Eric, still waiting on the official score sheet for this morning

Hey, at least I made an effort: http://app.strava.com/rides/23095120

This Philippe/Justin combo is killing the TPRs! Good to see, but next week we’ll have to assemble some squads that can really put the pressure on them. Until then, they have earned their bragging rights!
